Fees

All fees are collected at the time of the appointment and cash, checks and all major credit cards are excepted. As a solo practitioner, I do not accept insurance, as my focus is providing high quality, individual care for children, adolescents and young adults and their families in a private comfortable setting. After the first appointment and establishment of the Doctor- Patient relationship, I am happy to work out payment plans if needed for patients. Some fees for specialized appointments can vary but the general fee schedule is as follows:

New Patient Psychiatric Evaluation (2 hours) with Dr. Patricia Hess, MD – $350.00

First follow-up appointment (40 minutes) – $190.00

Regular follow-up (20 minutes, usually every 2-3 months) – $135.00

My office staff will provide a Superbill at each visit so that you can make a claim to your insurance company for direct reimbursement.

No shows and all cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will result in the following No Show Fees:

• First Evaluation – Full fee will be collected
• 40 Minute Appointments – $75 the first time and then full fee for all subsequent visits
• 20 Minute Appointments – $50 the first time and then full fee for all subsequent visits

Any patient 10 minutes late for a scheduled appointment will be considered a No Show resulting with the No Show Fee listed above and will need to be rescheduled.
