Dr. Patricia A. Hess is originally from Houston Texas where she grew up as one of nine children. Dr. Hess completed her Medical School training as well as her General Psychiatry Residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training all at The University of Texas Medical School - Houston, which is nestled in the middle of the largest Medical Center in the world. Dr. Hess graduated from Medical School in 2004 and completed her training in the field of Psychiatry in 2009.
Dr. Hess is a Board Certified General Psychiatrist and a Board Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Before moving to Florida in 2009, Dr. Hess worked as a clinical specialist on the psychiatric team at the world renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Dr. Hess started her solo Practice in Gainesville Florida in 2010. She has been proud to serve the families of Gainesville and surrounding areas. Dr. Hess is licensed to practice medicine in the states of Florida, Texas and Georgia and focuses on the treatment of all psychiatric disorders primarily ages 3-35.
