Treatment/Follow-Up

At the first visit a treatment plan is put into place to address the needs of the patient. In general the plan considers the biological, psychological and social aspects of the patient and may include things such as further testing and evaluation, parent and or patient education, school involvement, therapy, and medication management. Every patient is different and each plan is specific to the needs of that patient. The number of visits also varies and some patients may only require a few visits while others may need long-term follow-up.
